Maybe so but i understand the fans and it must be hard to sit there not expecting to win and thats the atmosphere martinez has created
I don't think anyone has turned up thinking that they are about to witness a defeat. The point is that it gives the opposition a boost and creates tension on the pitch. People can do it but don't think it's ever been a productive thing. And fans can be wrong. There was a lot of moaning about Lennon last season and wouldn't have blamed him for not wanting to touch the club.
The club's history is littered with much bigger examples.
The point is the home fans have no faith we can win a game and results show they are correct.
My thoughts entirely, at this point in the week I somewhat pessimistic on our chances of beating Bournemouth in the cup. Speak to me on Friday the hope has started to affect me, by match day I believe we will go there and score 4.
It happens with every match, no matter who we are up against.
The worst part of it is the disappointment isn't tempered by the early part of the week, it Isn't even tempered by the number of times we have failed to win over the last two years.
