Yes but extra room means more expensive rent and bills I am afraid.
This is strange. It's too big for me any too small (???) for the family? I thought and still think it's big enough.

Just remember when I taught families kids in social housing they have a rule that brothers/sisters shouldn't share rooms after a certain age - if you had two boys or two girls prob wouldn't be a problem. Are there any 3 bed terraces you could look for near the time they come over? Round about £100 per week? Anyone else clued up on this rule?

Kicks in if children are different sexes as soon as the oldest is 10 mate.

Kids still can live in different rooms and living room is the biggest on the flat it's like a huge room so we can sleep here...
But I am not sure housing will be happy with it...
P.S. I just don't fancy to lift this huge sofa again :)

Unfortunately mate, the housing association say it's a two bed so you'll end up having to move when the family arrive.
They aren't going to promote overcrowding, so get your muscles built up. Easier carrying them down the stairs anyway - got gravity on your side.

Welcome to the UK Sergie. "They" always know whats best for everyone.

Social services/NHS/Housing Authorities/everyone in charge of stuff. Scared of the repercussions if a rule isnt followed mate.

It's a bit strange cause I was looking for a 1 bed when i started to search but then the Your Housing offered it and said, it will be better for your family.
Then they send the agreement in advance but the was no words about 3 people.
When I came for sign in I saw it but firstly it was late to turn back as I already left Manchester accommodation and secondly they said that everything will be ok, etc.
but suddenly last week when I asked about it again they said that it will count like overcrowded so they will try to help to find 3 beds.
That's a shame cause I like the flat and the area is ok.
And don't get me wrong lads. I love Liverpool and I love to be here (especially when I passed the Old Lady)...
And the welcome from the local Blues are just unbelievable!

Chances are they get a payment or credit each time they find someone a place mate.

You will get used to it.

It looks complicated how you describe it mate.
I thought just to paint the wall and that's it.
I will explain why. In the
tenancy agreement it's said that 3 people including kids could live here. I told the Your Housing group that probably in the summer there will be 4 people (inc 2 kids), and they (housing group) said that it will be overcrowded by their standards and they don't advice me to put carpet and do other costly things as probably they will tell me to move on.
I told them that I think the flat is big enough for my family but I don't know will they be ok with it or no...
So I mean probably all this big, big job you mentioned, Dave @hibbo'sclass, could be pointless if they will decide not to let all of my family live here...

If your family aren't likely to be with you till the summer then that could be six months off.

Worry about it closer to the time and concentrating on settling in mate. Hopefully you'll get a job sorted over the next few months, get your family over and can restart your life properly.

Slapping some paint on the walls will give you something different to do and you'll feel like you've achieved something. If that means the next people in the flat have to do one less thing then you'll have helped out some strangers :)

Painting the place will brighten the place up mate and make life that little bit more bearable for you until you get your family over. With it being really spacious and light, with those big high ceilings, a load cheap magnolia on walls would make a massive difference. Your probably going to be spending a lot of time in there until they get here, so make it as nice as you can for yourself in the mean time.

Ps - Decorator is coming to finish off in ours on Friday, so wil deffo have a big cloth IKEA wardrobe if you want it mate, with the possibility of a big old wooden which has been wardrobe too ( if my missus doesn't want to sell it ).
