Nothing was going to move those 4CBs from their positions other than another forward. They wouldn't have been stretched with more widemen at all.

It isn't about air duels, as you say we would always lose those. When any balls are coming in, we needed more in there for WBA to think about. None of the other options are boxed based.

The call was right. The player coming on and his ability is another debate entirely.

not convinced about the great signings tbh i can name at least 5 duds off the top of my head

kone, mcgeady, robles, alcatraz, cleverly.

Mori would get nowhere near any top 4 side and Niasse has a hell of a lot to prove at this point.

Moyes won the net spend cup every year..

Price in those cases not entirely relevant it's more about they were brought in to be first team contributors and have mostly failed in that regard Mori apart.

But Mori at 9.5m Lukaku at 28m and Niasse at 13.5m make it certainly appear that big money has been spent on the team with little progress on the pitch

Totally agree.. I've had my weekend footy chat with my arl fella just now as well, Pulis does the job I think is the outcome.
New telly money big style. Don't get relagated. Big bonus for Tony.

Everton have come on from those 'looking at the last game of the season, hope it's not Arsenal away to stay up' days.
But baggies haven't. So fair play to them.
