Hugely frustrating game and disappointing result, but I genuinely GENUINELY can't see how the team or the manager get blamed for that. We never stopped attacking. I have never seen a more one-dimensional defensive performance: masterclass maybe, but as i watched I kept thinking, "Jesus it sucks to support Everton but thank the lord I don't have to support West Brom." Wow. They literally play like it's rugby: gaining yardage. And the fouls, and time wasting, and subs. Some on here will be wagging wisely and saying, "Game management," but that is not any kind of football I could cheer week in week out. Thought our heads never dropped. It was a soft goal no doubt. But what could we have done differently in terms of attack? They basically had 11 pairs of legs and arms in the box for 75 minutes. We can quibble about the subs, but any fair-minded supporter can see the logic in the subs. Osman was the neat player who was going to weave a path through their maginot line. Don't think Kev would have worked with a team where there is absolutely NO transition phase. They always kept two lines of 4 in their half. You can fume at our season and fume at other games where we capitulated or didn't show up. But I just see that today.

Yeah but he should be sacked lad

Ross Barkley 18th March 2007.

"I was given the chance on many occasions to go to Liverpool, they offered more money and promised to fast track me to the first team, but as soon as David Moyes personally rang me up and said he wants the best Evertonians to play for Everton there was only ever 1 place I was going to sign, David Moyes is everything to me and I owe him my whole career."
very erudite 13yr old was young Ross.

I rather you post something about Hilter though. I don't find this funny at all. You are just being childish like a third form kid.
