Oumar Niasse is in the frame to make his
Everton debut this weekend after making an impression in training with his “raw power”.
The Blues paid Lokomotiv Moscow £13.5m for the 25-year-old striker on transfer deadline day earlier this month.
Senegal international Niasse put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year deal but has yet to make his Everton bow.
Niasse was eligible to make his debut last weekend against Stoke City after receiving his visa but having not played a competitive game since December 10, Roberto Martinez decided the new-boy needed more time on the training ground.
Martinez has planned as many as 60 sessions in order to get Niasse up to speed with the Premier League but says cameo appearances in matches will be part of regime.

Everton welcome West Bromwich Albion to Goodison tomorrow and
Romelu Lukaku says his new team-mate has already displayed some stand-out qualities.
“I only really trained properly once with him, that was the day before Stoke,” Lukaku said earlier this week.
“But the day before a game is more about boxes and shooting.
“But on Tuesday morning we played in a small sided game and he was really powerful.
“Raw, really raw, but after a few more training sessions I will know but he has raw power about him - and it is some power.”
