List for Sergei

Right guys.
Time for a bit of a reality check.
Lots of people have done great things for Sergei and he's really grateful.
We've been sorting things for him based on his priorities and what's been promised on here.
Unfortunately, some promises haven't materialised, so there are some basics that Sergei still doesn't have.
If you've promised things, could you please either deliver, or let us know that you can't.

Sergei has had a sofa delivered today, but we need two or three people (in addition to Sergei) to get it upstairs and into his flat.
It's currently in the communal hall.
Can anybody local help please?

What basics are still missing - washing machine being sorted by the council in the next couple of weeks, still missing a kettle and toaster and of course carpets.

Yes mate, kettle was the thing I had in mind, which somebody had promised, but is still missing.
Would have bought one today, but Sergei was in a rush to get back as Tommy (what a star!) was calling.
We picked up a load of paint today.
I think the plan is to decorate the room he's living in, then get it carpeted, then move on to the next room.

Got to do some work in the morning, so I'll give Sergei a ring tomorrow lunchtime and sort a kettle if one hasn't arrived. If it still works, I' ve also got an iron if he needs/wants it - bought it, used it a couple of times then decided wrinkled clothing is a fashion statement, not idleness.
 


Right, @Frodsham Blue is worried because there are some stuff is waiting for picking up at Goodison since Friday. Been told we need to pick it up ASAP. Should fit in a car. So if by any chance anybody have spare time...
P.S. Also I still have a big sofa in a communal area.
