All the last couple of games has done for me is reinforce my view that Robles and Lennon should have played more games, and we have the ability to win plenty of games in this league. The fact that our manager has belatedly cottoned on to these things does not change my opinion of his performance on the whole.

That said, I've been consistent in my view that a sustained upturn in form would change my feelings, and if we go on to finish 8th or higher my criticisms will be limited. Any lower and I'll still feel the season has been little short of a shambles.

Easy to say that about Lennon, as he's been great as of late. I am intereted to know how you would have given him more game time?

Geri has been brilliant and still has our most assists this season.

You're making the common mistake of thinking you need to be able to do something yourself to recognise when somebody else is doing it poorly.

Roberto himself is a prime example of why your logic is flawed. Every single player in our squad is a better player than he was, and yet he is tasked with coaching and improving them. The fact he couldn't do these things himself is irrelevant.

Horses for courses. City away in the cup was a game I would have picked Lennon for without a shadow of a doubt.

I'm not saying I've always said these things would solve our problems, but then again I'm not claiming our problems have been solved. I've always maintained that one of our major issues is a lack of balance in the side, and I think Lennon, and cleverley on the other side, gives a much better balance. Particularly away.

I will have to get back to you with this one. I don't really understand what you are saying.

I would agree re Lennon but running football teams at any level never mind this one is not easy. Tactics / injuries / form etc there are plenty of dynamics to consider. As always in hindsight...

It's a fairly straightforward concept.

I coach cricket at a reasonable level. My batting is, and always has been, terrible. And yet I know exactly how to bat well. I know the stance you need, the technique, the temperament. I can tell somebody else how to do it, despite the fact I can't do it myself.

In an employment sense, I manage staff without ever having done their job. I know what they're supposed to be doing, however, and I know how best to do it. The idea that you must have experience of doing something to be able to understand the quality of someone else's performance is a fallacy.

Can one ask how many years you have been on this planet sir?

I'd love to manage actual humans but there's no company or person daft enough to let such things occur.
