Same, Ian. Great to pay them back for the 4-3. We managed the game really well and seem to be getting the hang of that again, slowly but surely. Thankfully the goals haven't dried up either as that's happened. I think we have cause to be cautiously optimistic now we're doing both ends of the pitch right again.
 
We've definitely got something here, and I think Martinez is on the right track. It's just a question of whether he is good enough, or can become good enough to see it through.

Merson on Sky Sports was absolutely singing our praises today, he had a proper bone on for us, like.

I've beeb wondering whether Howard has been dropped but they've played it that he's injured.

The reason Leicester are top and we are seventh is that they to a man have given 100% in every match and their manager has them playing in a way that suits their strengths. I wish them all the best and will be made up if little Leicester put 2 fingers up to all the big spenders and win the league

I honestly don't know. The fact that him, stones and baines have all dropped out at the same time makes me think that it is just too much of a coincidence that all 3 of our weak points in defence got injured in the same week.
 
I'm filled with renewed optimism, if we don't put at least 15 past West Brom next week I want Bobby's head on a plate lol

Incredible what a few wins can do for confidence.

This was the same bloke (Merson) who was ridiculed by many on here for daring to criticise Martinez( rightly in my opinion) last week. . Today he was full of praise for the way we played. I said last week I think Merson generally speaks well of us as a club, and I hope he continues to sing our praises for the rest of the season.
 
I didnt want him sacked immediately and was willing to give him till the Summer.

I wanted him to show me that he can change and is willing to change and this week, theres small signs that he has and is willing.

As long as he keeps it up from now till the end of the Season and doesnt revert to type he can have another season.
