Make of it what you will. Regardless of whether you believe Lescott or not, it's a wrinkle on the transfer saga that I don't think I've heard yet. Does make for a bit of interesting reading:

Man i think that is a load of crap that i might have swallowed when i was younger but he can forget it if doubling his wages had nothing to do with it.

Strange that he seems to get booed at away games, seems like all fans didn't like the way he basically [Poor language removed] all over the club that made him.

Glad to see him score this weekend, do not wish him specific harm. Don't like his advisers, but there are worse ******s in football than Lescott. Fondly remembered for steaming up the left wing like a rhinoceros on steroids. He could have said worse things, like "I know the truth". Respect for not prattling on like that and for sticking the knife into Emre and the FA.
