I think it was just a slight strain mate. If he hasn't pulled it he'll be fine. He was walking fine last night in the tunnel - no signs of a limp or anything - so that's a good sign.

The problem is that with a hammy, it could easily flare up again.

Fair analysis, I just figured with him having sat down on the pitch of his own accord and effectively have himself subbed through injury that way - it might've been a bit more serious than we had imagined, I'd love to have him back asap mind but it'll be worth waiting if it will keep him fitter for longer.

.....can't see him being fit for a couple weeks at earliest even if it's a slight pull. It might not impact his normal walking stride but could ping under pressure.

Bang on, you can walk normally with a hammy strain after a few days but I don't think we will see mo for at least 3 weeks.

Good thing is that is other leag was not one that he was work on a lot more . I m really sorry for him , hes only wish is to avoid injury s. Hope Martinez do not rush him and McCharty is back so even if hes fit he would be on bench

Switch him with Stones when healthy. The more I watch our squad Besic would be awesome along with Mori. Just a thought. In the back of my mind Stones would be a awesome midfielder too. Perhaps he will gravitate that way in a few years.

Newcastle may be a push, but I don't think he should be too far off. Don't rush him back and risk it though

Martinez has had opportunities to put Besic in defense but has always passed them up. I've seen him put Barry back there instead. It's strange, because he was a central defender before he came here but has never once played there since he joined the club.

Hes a midfielder. And potentially a very good one in the box to box mould. No reason he can't eventually add some goals too by the looks.

So martinez did talk about Kevin , Colman ,McCharty , that they are ready and tha Kevin will ne tested before the game , not one word of Besic , so tha is bad bad news , month at list if not more
