Re: those missed chances - Moyes said it too.

Moyes Rues Missed Chances – News Archive – News – evertonfc.com – The Official Website of Everton Football Club

David Moyes admitted his concerns over missed chances after the 1-1 draw with Wolves.
It took an 88th minute Diniyar Bilyaletdinov equaliser to ensure that the points were shared between the two sides on Saturday.
But Everton did fashion a number of presentable chances throughout the encounter.
"I am concerned," said Moyes, "Beacuse I think that in the last two games, we've created enough chances to win both games quite comfortably and you just can't keep missing those.
"So I will have to look and see what I can do. I think Stoke had chances last time out, Wolves certainly had chances today.
"For us, Tim (Cahill) has a great opportunity early on, then we have a header (from Louis Saha), then we get through on goal (with Bilyaletdinov).
But Moyes is taking some solace in the fact that earlier this season, the goals were flowing.
"I think a few weeks ago, we were scoring against Athens, against Hull and against Blackburn," he continued. "So we had a period where we were scoring. It's just that in this period we are not scoring."
Indeed, the Everton boss explained that he was happy with the all-round play his side were displaying.
"It happens, but I don't think we could play any better, considering that we're playing much better than we were," he added.
"If we were getting the same amount of chances and scoring them. I think we're playing about the same as we were then, but now we're not scoring them."

Got no idea what the bottom bit means like.

I have not posted of late because tbh there has not been much to comment on. But this game, we are playing Wolves at home and we play 4-5-1, what kind of f*****g c**p is that Moyes. it is blood* F*****g sh*te that we cannot beat Wolves and the responsiblity for this has to be the manager's. (n)(n)(n)

What team would you have played mate? Not having a go, just wondering, he had very options in his defense, but I would have rather saw 4-4-2 myself.

At home we should be doing more to try and win games not just hold out for a lucky break, so yes 4-4-2 should be the norm and perhaps 4-5-1 when away.

Look at the subbing that was done, Hibbert off for Yakubu, Why does he not try picking a proper bloody set up to start off with FFS.

Everton supporter on FIVE LIVE radio phone in NOW.

just wanted to add if you're near a radio.

He had a defender in midfield and moved rodwell into a unfamiliar role when there was no need to. he then pushed cahill right up which isn't his best position.

moyes tinkered with the team to fit a negative formation.with the players he had available a 442 with two natural strikers would have worked a lot better. as we looked much better in the 2nd half
