I don't understand why people hate him ?

What's he done that's so appalling other than decline in ability like most footballers in their late 30s ?

He's been here long enough that you'd think our fans would have some respect for him.

It's all a bit weird and over the top tbh. Doesn't make some our fans come across that well either.

Im sorry but I dont respect people that show such disdain for the fanbase, its been happening over a number of years.

Has anyone the new show Uncompromising on Fox1? They feature Tim Howard.

I caught some of it. I would imagine if you already hate Tim then it wont go on to change your mind but it does present him as a human being deserving of some basic respect.
His performances and nationality are undeserving of basic respect.

Its English based xenophobia, I see it all the time from you people over the pond.

racism =/= xenophobia

What do you mean "you people"? You dont know anything about me. You do realize this thread exists and was started just to slate the current player. You have contributed as much as anyone to "xenophobia"

Listen if you dont like Americans that is your business and you can spout off all you want. Just be upfront and honest about it.

The fact that it even would have been close to Ayew getting there makes it a no no pass. What value was possibly going to be gained. It was all risk and no reward. I think it's now reached consensus that Howard needs to be dropped. He's lost a lot in the way of athleticism, doesn't trust himself, and his technique was not refined enough to let him continue on after losing his athletic ability. However, using a poor keeper to cover up for the golden boy's mistakes is wrong. Stones overall defending this term has been crap, and he takes too many risks in dangerous situations. That pass should have never been made. Simple as.
While I agree with you on Stones' questionable decisions recently and another poor one on the back pass, I gotta say Tim's lack of awareness was utterly shocking. Of all of Tim's mistakes, this one for me goes beyond the sort of thing that's one of those "if you watch long enough something you've never seen before will happen". Tim's actions show he doesn't have control of the defense and, even worse, is in his own world on the pitch, something a keeper simply cannot be.

I ask you this question - how much different was this error than the error the keeper made in the MLS Cup final? If that was a 0 out of 10 for a keeper, this Howard error was a 1 or a 2, the more I watch it. There were numerous things Tim could have done if he had any awareness at all, he could have even played it back for a corner. Anything but what it did. it's truly inexcusable

I'm fairly certain it's because he is a tit mate. And people don't like tits putting in horror performances week on week, while picking up a cool quarter of a million a month, whilst obviously continuing to act as a tit at the same time.

Its because he turned around and gave a clap to those home fans who were booing him and cheering ironically when he made a save (or some other simple game action, i honestly forget)

He should have ignored those jerks behind goal but he didnt so EVERYONE gets to have an opinion on whether his attitude is right.

Im not the 1 throwing about such phrases as "golden boy".

I mean how is that acceptable?

Im actually a little offended you would imply I have ever said anything remotely xenophobic about America, I watch loads of tv shows from America and most of the big Hollywood films, I just think your people are utterly horrific at "soccer" and should prolly stick to hitting balls with bats or playing Rubgy with big shoulder pads like the lil whiney bishes you are.

I was there for that Columbus embarrassing transgression. It was one of the worst you will ever see and to do it in a final...well I know the club is looking for an upgrade at that position but not finding one just yet during the MLS offseason.

Maybe you have a different definition there about what a golden boy is? Golden Boy or Golden boy
There isnt a thing about race, skin color, culture, planet, history, heritage etc...

To end the conversation: You brought up race. Why do you hate people who arent just like you, the term is racist bigot. I would rather be a whiney bish than a bigot. true story.

That avatar is highly offensive.

Good for him. if fans can dish it out they need to be able to take it back... If giving it back gets them this mad then you can only come to the conclusion that said fans are a bunch of overly precious whoppers.
