One swallow does not a summer make

He owed us a good performance. Carry on like this and I'll stop thinking evil thoughts about him. I have my enormous doubts about the likelihood of this happening though

there you go ;)

much better from howard today, great game, probably MOM. He didn't do anything you wouldn't expect most prem keepers to do, but he made a few saves. In his only two good performances we've come from the etihad and WHL with clean sheets.

is that an indicator that he has been largely at fault for most of the goals conceded? yes, in my opinion. but he won us a very good point today.
I stated I would be happy with one sheet and have posted accordingly criticism where necessary , and praise when necessary Tim realises Robles is now strong competition, and indeed made some great saves last night - this has to continue I.E.competition for any position will only make the team play better , and we cant afford to have a big headed dodgy Keeper as I stated his talking should be on the pitch not with the crowd!

hopefully the crowd criticism was a bit of a wake up call for him.

wasn't at fault, but why does he never actually make saves? he lets in about 80% of shots on target. 1 save 2 goals conceded. i don't understand how we play 2 DM's, yet all teams find massive gaps between our defence and midfield. what are they actually doing half the time?
when we get caught on the counter (happened a good few times this season) we are too slow to get back, with the 2 dm's, (besic, barry) besic seems to have more of a free role, ie. get forward when he can and bring the ball out, where as barrys sits all of the time. whe we get cought on the counter, barry is way to slow to recover, chase down and get back behind the ball to defend. he good on the ball, but off it, to to slow imo.

I think it is very good management.
He picked the player most under pressure and the player who has been having a rocky time of late.
If had let 3 in would you have said that, or if an outfield play had messed up would you say that = bad management you do not gamble with out of form players , and one swallow does not make a summer either - lets hope consistency from Tim starts!

I must say one very good game and the osmans and RM are making a big one of it yest when he makes blunders not a word said other than in the ground , and on here - He does seem immune from criticism from pundits in general!

A few of the newspaper journos pick up on it. He does get too much of an easy ride though
