If we slate him when poor, we must praise him on days like today.

He was excellent today wasn't he mate, still a bit rooted to his line for my liking but I liked that all the centre backs knew that and just got there heads on anything near the 6 yard box and taking control. At least if they have that understanding instead of hesitation it will help things if Bobby is going to persist with him.

Motm for me tonight.

Howard was faultless tonight, but... those efforts were all straight at him and it would have been disappointing if any of them had of gone in.

He deserves credit but it doesn't make up for 18 months of poor goalkeeping.
That Toure header was not remotely straight at him.

17 clean sheets one I would be pleased with ONE get a reality check will you!

there you go ;)

much better from howard today, great game, probably MOM. He didn't do anything you wouldn't expect most prem keepers to do, but he made a few saves. In his only two good performances we've come from the etihad and WHL with clean sheets.

is that an indicator that he has been largely at fault for most of the goals conceded? yes, in my opinion. but he won us a very good point today.
