ammount of pap dougie says about howard is unbearable now, either trolling or just doesn't see what everyone else on the planet bar the manager see's.

Martinez keeping Howard in the team for so long isn't just affecting our position in the league, it's harsh on Howard too. If he's not good enough he's not good enough, and he's not picking himself every week. He should have been dropped a year ago and then his relationship with the Everton fans wouldn't have soured like it has now, after we've all seen him wheeled out once a week only to flap and star jump over balls as they roll into our net.

When he palms the ball away (poorly) there's 5 defenders in the box to 3 Stoke attackers, yet Galloway and Mori are no way near to closing the attacker down and getting a block in.

He's partly culpable for that goal but again others have switched off when the balls in our box and not done their jobs. That's before you look at how easy it was again to get a cross into out box.

If he doesnt dive at the ball a defender hooks the ball clear. The fact his feable attempt of a save parried it straight to a Stoke player is the sole reason they scored.

He's playing in the Spurs game and the semi final, he's the best keeper we've got and the stats show he's one of the best in the league.

People are looking at Howard and ignoring the chaotic defending going on because they're either ignorant, have a personal dislike or are just plain old stupid.

Luckily Martinez and a few others realise it's not a problem with the goalkeeper and we'd still be conceding goals even with Neville Southall in goal. It's a wider problem of inexperience in crucial areas, poor individual mistakes and bad luck. At some point the tide will turn and we'll be keeping clean sheets again but it won't be with Robles in goal.

No one is ignoring the chaotic defending Douglas, it's a problem that needs addressing as well. However the fact of the matter is, we were 3-2 up with 15 minutes to go against Stoke despite our chaotic defending, and who knows we might have even got a 4th as the momentum was with us. However, a horrific individual error from your best mate gifted them a goal out of absolutely nothing, at a time when they had rarely threatened for ages, wiping out our lead. How you can deny that Howard's error massively swung the game in their favour is baffling.

As for the last statement, how on earth can you say that? The tide will turn and Howard will suddenly stop being absolutely gash for the first time in 4 years and start keeping clean sheets? It's not happening Doug. We're leaking goals left right and centre with that clown, how can Robles do any worse?

I think Robles will deffo play the 2 cup games,not sure about Spurs. It's the same as last season though where if he did bring Robles in now the pressure is massive on him to perform.

I would like him in now and just let him find his feet. Biggest month of the season is coming up and something needs to change regarding personel at the back

Yeah you're right Macca of course it's Mori he collides with, for some reason I thought it was Stones but he's marking fresh air again. The point still stands that there's two players that get nowhere near stopping that ball and the overall defending is all over the show.

It's easy pointing the finger at Howard, seems a hobby for some on here at times regardless of the fact the defenders are making awful errors and it's like watching schoolboys at times yet no one mentions it.

As I said he's got to take part responsibility for that goal, but others like Kone, Coleman, Stones, Mori, Galloway, Naismith and Barry all contributed to us conceding that not just Howard.

The crucial fact here is that 3 of our back four are very young and very inexperienced at this level. Mistakes and lapses in concentration will happen with these players as they learn and grow together, it wouldn't matter what goalkeeper was behind them they always hand the opposition chances until they start learning and growing.

Why could he have not turned it round the post for a corner? that baffles me. I have seen this before he tends to palm the ball into play instead of out.
