Tim Howard

He's playing in the Spurs game and the semi final, he's the best keeper we've got and the stats show he's one of the best in the league.

People are looking at Howard and ignoring the chaotic defending going on because they're either ignorant, have a personal dislike or are just plain old stupid.

Luckily Martinez and a few others realise it's not a problem with the goalkeeper and we'd still be conceding goals even with Neville Southall in goal. It's a wider problem of inexperience in crucial areas, poor individual mistakes and bad luck. At some point the tide will turn and we'll be keeping clean sheets again but it won't be with Robles in goal.

I have a feeling that he won't drop him for Spurs, but Robles is probably planned to play the next 2 in Man City & Dagenham, as they are cup games.

If Robles does well in those 2, then it's massive decision time, because Martinez then has a 'face-saving' out that allows him to keep Robles in the team by saying his performances are too strong to ignore, whilst at the same time not overly criticising/burying his mate Howard.

Laughing that people still actually think Howard will be dropped. Howard could throw the ball into his own net on purpose and would still start the next million games

What about Stoke third goal? Are you saying this wasn't Howard fault?

When he palms the ball away (poorly) there's 5 defenders in the box to 3 Stoke attackers, yet Galloway and Mori are no way near to closing the attacker down and getting a block in.

He's partly culpable for that goal but again others have switched off when the balls in our box and not done their jobs. That's before you look at how easy it was again to get a cross into out box.

It's the most important game of his managerial career, Martinez isn't going to field a weakend team for that.

Quit drugs mate it doesn't do you well on here

Your right there Dougie about the other defenders except for Mori, watch it again and Howard nearly breaks the poor fellas legs in two as he flaps at the ball.

One thing I do know though mate, if I was Tim Howard I would hire you to do my pr because out of every shytstorm Howard causes, you always find the rainbow amidst the madness ;)

You blame Mori, yet Howard drags him to the ground?
