Halfway point of the season

Why finish 7-8th every year and have the same old results, never beating the top 4 teams, always getting knocked out of the quarter finals of cups etc. Embrace the madness!
Now we are finishing 11th and winning nothing onwards and upwards my friend

He's better than that and you know it. We're having a rough patch. Moyes had years of them. I'd never believe we'd win a trophy under him, but with Martinez anything is possible.
I don't think he is mate and he is getting found out all to easy.
His tactics and system is why we are leaking goals for fun and him keeping on picking flappy is insane.
We are still 11th where we finished last season we are stagnating at best

Lets be fair it is halfway point in the season. Okay still in two cup comps but to think oh boy Wembley here we come is a wee bit optimistic. Tough games ahead.
Now as for our league position, we are 11th now this could go up and challenge for a euro place but on the other hand it could go lower not saying we will challenge for a relegation place though that will not happen, this season anyway. The second half of the season will reveal all.

Time will tell I guess. We're scoring as many as we let in and it's only December not May.

Halfway into the season and I see one of the most attacking and exciting teams in the Pl and probably our most gifted attack wise since the glory days under Kendall.

There's a problem with the GK and this is down to Martinez. he should have promoted Robles as soon as he played well in the opening games of the LC run.

He needs to act on this and the second half of the season can be more fruitful than this first one.

However, I'm ok for now with where we are. Not great but it's easily remedied when you have a team capable of scoring 35 goals in 19 games.
Dave, IT IS NOT JUST THE
I get it. We're throwing points away left, right and centre. It's frustrating as hell and it needs fixing.

The criticism of Martinez is deserved, especially his bumming of Howard, but what about the highly entertaining football he's bought to the table, Or would you prefer the turgid gash that Moyes was dishing up?

Apart from the utd game, I think the team has played well and mostly been unlucky this season. Surely you can see that the team is not a million miles away from being really great and there's only a few things that need fixing?
Every team in the prem could play good exciting football if they like us decided to neglect their defense. Unfortunately for us the 10 teams above us have found a balance between defense and attack which is why they are beating us. Its not rocket science, but unfortunately Martinez has not grasped it

No, no they couldn't. They don't have the players or the ambition to play in the right manner.

Maybe it's time to recognise that you don't solve the defensive weakness by stopping the attacking football, which seems to be the idea behind all the critical posts. It's dead easy to fix and it involves a bold managerial decision. It's not about balance at all, it's about taking the GK out of the equation.

Those other teams are nowhere near Everton's level of ability. Stop selling your own team short and back them.

I have been watching EFC for 45 years. I am not selling my team short I am being a realist not a fantasist, you could possibly follow my lead
