Yeah but we never had players like rom and gerry under them.
We have some brilliant exciting players now but the crowd like everybody else know whats going to happen

True this, when it went 3-3 yesterday a few around me agreed on take a draw now, no thought of it might be us that go onto win, even thou we had just got a last min winner a few days earlier.

Some of these people never wanted him from the start
I take it you was a regular through the moyes era? It was boring football the majority of the time were we couldnt string 3 passes together.

Yes we have problems now, yes he is doing my head in with the howard situation, and we were unlucky that we have had to put two novice (for different reasons) centre halfs together. But think we are closer now than we ever was under moyes of being a top side.
intersting question over did he go through the Moyes era

We're all Evertonians Ian....none better, none worse. I just don't get the not going stance based on Martinez. I obviously misread that it was a reply to @harry.
Well again I disagree to a point most of us want us to win any game we play, some will only accept victories in certain styles. But anyone who pays to go week in week out definitely has a more valid opinion. For example I'm not going to listen to Someone on here telling me the is the best we can do then watch the link tgat was posted last night of the fans interviews after the game. All if which seemed to have lost a little/all faith in the manager.

BTW I have always held this stance on match going compared to non match going. On all things regarding Everton.

Right, I said 'please don't mate' that was sarcastic, the main point of my reply was that it's getting tedious that their seems to be a thought process amongst those that love Martinez that they think anyone who wants rid of him (or the results to improve massively) want a return of Moyes or Moyes style football. To me it's a weak point aimed at trying somehow proved how much better things are now, maybe also trying to say that we could do no better than Martinez. I don't buy that.

I don't think anyone thinks we can't do better than Martinez Ian...of course we can. However, he's our manager and whilst he is it's better to back him than rip him apart at every opportunity. I don't see anyone really suggesting that we should keep Martinez so we don't have Moyes back, and I don't see anyone suggesting it would be a return to Moyes type football if Martinez went other than a few who are on the wind-up most of the time.
I hope Martinez gets it right, and for what it's worth I think he will, and I genuinely hope he gets a balance between entertainment and points so the likes of you can get back to GP and enjoy watching Everton again...the more happy blues there the better.

I'm "dumb" yet you are actually claiming Moyes left a amazing squad for Martinez?

Where are these super duper squad players now???

GK- Mucha?.....useless
LB - Oviedo....perma crocked
LCB - Duffy....championship
RCB- Heitinga...cant get a game for ajax
RB-Hibbert.....finished
DM-Gibson....injury prone
CM-Osman....finished (1st choice then)
LM-Pienaar.....finished (1st choice then)
RM-Mirallas..poor this season (1st choice then)
CF- Jelavic......cant get a game for Wham
CF-Anichebe...cant get a game for wba

Absolutely amazing "top hungry players" those, could tell moyes was building for the future there...

Ive even left out such class as Distin whose finished and Naismith and the great backup defenders, playmakers and backup keeper he left Martinez with.

The REALITY is that he left Martinez with a shocking ageing squad which Martinez is improving window to window.

But hey, the truth doesnt fit your agenda.

I assume you are dumb.
Try to remember moysie's last season and how well we played then try to remember the catalan clown taking over with the same players

So if the majority of the regular match going fans see this as a young progessing team and enjoy the excitement of the football on offer all your opinions are wrong and you except that?

Nobody is suggesting that but i don't think moyes gets the credit he deserves for the job he did for us

Its been talked about to death but he's old news and acted like a complete bell after leaving. I'm no martinez fan either. Far from it. But these moyes shouts whether serious or not are ridiculous.

He shouldn't be welcome back to watch a game let alone manage us again. He was better at some things than martinez. Martinez is better than him at plenty of things. But both are failures.

I think you are very odd.
I will leave you to argue with yourself plus posting upside down makes me dizzy when i read it

Links are like stats Ian....you can make them say whatever you want them to say. I recall Alex Nyarko looking like Viera and Bilyaletdinov ( who I actually liked to be fair) looking World class on their YouTube cameos. In all honesty there's been very, very minimal dissent at Goodison for Martinez, and only slightly more away from home. I'd take that link with a similar pinch of salt as the YouTube cameos.

Moyes did a great job mate but outstayed his welcome.
