We can't do the basic things, so we will never succeed. Can't attack or defend set pieces. Our defensive positioning is horrendous, everytime we face an attack it looks like we will concede. The attacking football is ok but half the time it ends up being a million passes to nowhere.

His time is up for me, conceding four at home to stoke is unacceptable.

I think we need someone like Davie Weir back, coaching the art of clean sheets despite having no pace.
Then buy a goalkeeper and a new centre half on New Year's Day

Could be the players aren't good at instructions. But the players do seem to be getting off lightly. Especially by you.

Really? I don't find a get away excuse for the manager actually. He had 4 attackers (not including Ross) who aren't good at defending after 70 mins. I understand that when the team was behind and chasing a game with not much time left but 3-2 you got to be ruthless and close the game out. The lineup and his subs did not show that.

The way we play might be dictating our defenders. To be fair if Howard would have caught the cross. We might have hold on and won but Howard once again struggled,I'm sure he had his eyes closed again.

What really concerned me about the game yesterday was after we went ahead we stopped attacking and treid to kill the game with 15 minutes still to play. We had the ball on the right wing in a good position to attack and it ended up with a dodgy back pass by naismith. At this point i knew we had no chance of winning the game. Great teams would have gone for the throat.

Well let's hope you are wrong as playing Howard will cost him the support from the fans. He got to the summer to replace him for me.

I didnt say he would but i think its a step in the right direction. We also need a leader at centrehalf as neither stones or mori seem to be organising things for obvious reasons.

Yes I agree with you harry. Should give a chance to Robles now see how it goes and we need Jags back to shore things up at the back. And we can pray for better results.
