Tim Howard

He was massively at fault for our second goal, He's off his line when he shouldn't be and glued to it when you need him to take command. The third was a difficult one to deal with but a good keeper does deal with it.

With the shaqiri one, there's no way you should ever be lobbed from there. His positioning is dire

it's a fluke that second, his positioning was fine, terrible ball out by Stones started their attack, and Galloway was caught with Shakiri goal side. the third was just a great ball in, hard to defend, not really his fault.

just watched it again on MOTD. Arnoutavic ran past stones as if he wasnt there from the edge of the area... But no one blames our wonder kid Stones - he had a woeful day today and that isn't Howard's fault.
He was stuc k to his line Stones had no need to tackle if you had a decent Alert Keeper that should have been dived on, Tim picks the ball up FGS he is scared stiff he should spread confidence at the back he unsettles our defence - give Robles a run!

but people say his positioning was wrong when he was off his line for the Shaqiri goal... so which is it, right to be on the line, or wrong...?

Utter rubbish he leaves his line for a wicked bending cross knocks Mori off the ball who had it covered flaps it to their player who scores utter garbage keeping!

Mori shins it into the top of the net, then you'll shout at howard for not coming for it!! it's a hypothetical situation, Mori may not have got there...

It wasn't good. He could have left it, he could have did an impressive catch, he could have punched it behind or out wider. No, he flapped it for an open goal. It wasn't easy but how often do you see our decent balls in result in open goals? I don't see opposition keepers cocking up like this so regularly

I agree Stones wasn't great today. But if you had to play in front of someone you have no confidence in behind you, it affects your own game. Their third was a joke. Howard was flapping at a ball in our 6 yard box.

it was a brilliant ball in, if deulofeu did that people would be jizzing their pants and it probably would have got us a goal as well!
