SOUND THE RELEGATION KLAXON!

Nah, no need for the down horn yet eh, nor will there be, but if it's gonna be all coolio finishing 15th with a shed load of goals against then, yeah, sound, crack on & as we are eh...

His job as a manager is to see the problems, iron them out, get it sorted & have the plums to make decisions he may not be comfortable making.

That's not really happening is it?

Would it be a bad idea to promote unsworth to the 1st team coaching staff?

Agree with what people are saying about having no leader at the back. But 7 goals conceded in two home game isn't good enough.

Does anyone have the video of Kenwright being interviewed in his office by EvertonTV after he hired Martinez?
Bill basically says "Roberto admitted the problem at Wigan was leaking goals and unfortunatly he didn't know how to fix it"
Seems to have got a bigger hole.
Lucky for the clown the board are a useless waste of space

They're invested in Martinez's project lid. They can see themselves there's a very good young team developing.

I doubt they'll get time though. The Lower Gallogate will have it all destroyed.
I suspect poor league finishes will do more damage, how long will these young lads want to stay at a club playing at that level?

If that was the case, it is pretty easy to solve that sort of problems. Sign any mediocre portuguese coach for the staff and let him take care of the defending. If there's anything Martinez can learn form any newbie portuguese coach is to defend and waste time!!!!

Sign Carlos Queiros as his assistant manager, ffs!!! He'll solve the leakage of goals!

Is their anything you won't say to defend Martinez, what an utterly crap point.

'If we get top 4 Lukaku may not stay'

'Oh well forget it lets just entertain and hover around the upper part of the bottom half of the table'

Have actually already said on this thread today mate, that Martinez gets the blame for today's game because he got it wrong big style, you know, when he get's it right I'll praise him, when he get's it wrong I'll slag him off.

Simple Paul, they may help coming back in this season but what of next etc. Do we need to be thinking of replacements now or just playing along for next couple of seasons. They could easily given their age be hit with long term injuries again and where does that leave us.

They'll probably be sound again next season as they're good athletes. We tried thinking longer term with Mori, but unfortunately due to the injury to Jagielka, he had to be a short term solution. If it happens again that they pick up long term injuries, we're very unlucky. I don't think these kind of long term injuries have much to do with age. Barry for example, plays game after game and is fine.
