Roberto Martinez discussion

more hyperbole. you want to talk about basic football while glossing over the fact our most experience defender who also happens to be the team captian would make a difference for us in terms of holding onto leads and committing silly mistakes?

We have jags and stone playing together for much part of the season and yet we're still shipping in goals. It's the whole defensive structure and the approach that counts. A good defensive setup is not heavily dependent on center back to solve all problems. In fact, the center back should not even be in a position to expose to silly mistakes as often as we've seen now. If we sort out our defensive structure and defend further up the pitch, our center back will more likely pick up loose balls than struggling to cope with striker bursting away running at goals or lunging themselves to block shots desperately.

He took them down waving the white flag though.
Whilst on the way down he never changed a thing just shut his eyes to it

Aye, he should have used the immense resources he had at his disposal there to avoid what was a shocking relegation for a club of their size. The fact they've bounced back so quickly shows he hadn't a clue what he was doing.

You're ridiculous. I actually can't take you seriously anymore.

At least admit his shortcomings.

You're too far gone to ever backtrack on your Pro-Martinez agenda.
It's been that way for months. He's just fun to prod about a year ago It was clear he had Martinez as more important than Everton (because he wanted him from the get go) and now it's clear he can't back down as no genuine Evertonian could be happy with the results.

He also smashed our record points total in 2013/14.

That was two years (seasons) ago though. We are taking about the current season and his records from two years ago do not have any relationship to the current run.

Even we win the next two, 7 wins out of 19 is still poor. Mid-lower table form that is.

He took them down and just stood there looking lost.
