Roberto Martinez discussion

He may well stand out at Blackburn, but you do realise they currently sit in 12th place in the Championship? Some would say that is his level.

I fully expect to see Duffy back in the Premier League in the future

Blackburn could still come up, so it might even be with them

We could have certainly used Duffy this season considering how poor we've been defending corners

Oh well, I'm sure Martinez is happy with how things turned out. Who needs a defender whose tall and good in the air? Boss tekkers, that's what you want!

Even if duffy was still here he wouldn't have been picked.

Yeah, because we defo would have dropped either Jags or Stones for Duffy, ffs.

With Browning injured and no Funes Mori, I'm pretty certain he would have. Funes Mori was Alcarazs replacement remember. Duffy stays and Alcaraz leaves, he'd be playing the second Jags went down
Martinez never rated him though i mean only getting a million for him.
He will end up being a top centre half but martinez is clueless when it comes to the defence

He's not as good as Mori either though, imo.

It would be hilarious watching Duffy try to play for Argentina.

Rubbish logic.

Demichelis has been awful over here, but was an excellent CB for Argentina.

Veron - awful in England, brilliant everywhere else.

We've conceded 22 goals in 16 games with Mori - we may as well start 1-0 down.

Thought he was irish

Obviously. I was just making the point that he wouldn't get a sniff for them if he was eligible.

I don't know about you, but given the choice between an Argie international and some Irish lad who plays for a mid-table championship team, I'd pick the Argie every time.
