then to be fair what is the point in having an opinion about your club then?

can't say we don't work on set pieces because I haven't seen training , despite us not scoring off them and conceding off them? Can't we say anything about the defence then? Or the goal keeping or coaching? or tactics?

Baines has confirmed that Everton spent part of last week working on defending set-pieces but admits they will have to do more.

“Nobody is getting anxious when balls come into the box but we worked on it during the week,” he said.

“It got to the point where we had to touch on it and so we did some work on it but unfortunately we conceded again and is something for us to work on.

“You miss people like Jags who go and put their head on things but we have other guys who are just as capable.

“It is something we are going to have to go back and work on.”

i suppose that's a positive, we looked sort of dangerous from corners today with baines taking them. didn't get close to scoring and a few hit the first man, but baby steps

Interesting he mentioned 'game management'. It's a lack of it that cost us on the third. Coleman took that throw in when Stones was on his arse and Cleverley had 2 men around him. Somebody needed to calm the players down a bit as we'd hurriedly tried to get an equaliser. Martinez needs some leaders out there.
