Roberto Martinez discussion

We keep saying he isn't getting the best from the squad, but what do we base this on. This is a young team he has put together over 2.5 seasons. There will be problems than need addressing and fixing. Swapping and changing managers won't help as we will find faults with the next manager if he doesn't play the team we want him to play or he doesn't make the subs we would have. It will just go on and on. Totally agree with Howard by the way.
This is a squad that should have won more than 5 matches this season.
This is his 3rd season now and we should be seeing progress at the moment we are 10th with the likes of bournemouth and norwich breathing down our necks if we don't start getting it together as a team we are in for a long season.
The players seem only to play one half and i don't know if thats a fitness issue or a can't be arsed issue but whichever it is it needs managing.
And on the subject of howard it just looks like he is too weak to drop him

Reality has struck home, and our fans don't see it. Martinez is 'clueless', let's be honest none of us have a ******* clue compared to him. We're all silly, he's smart, that's why he gets paid millions to manage our team while we sit here discussing him.

Roberto Martinez treats Everton with respect, and he has made us respected. We now have a team worth in excess of £200mill, and that's down to him and him alone. I love everything about the guy, and if you guys want someone to complain about, go complain about the idiots who paid for the Kenwright banner. He's the one to look at.

Everton are 5 points off 5th, playing some lovely football, and waiting for a slice of luck to kick us on our way.

If you seriously, and I mean seriously want the best manager we've had in a long while to leave, then I really feel for you.

He's had ample time this season to correct the balance of the side and it's still not there.

I understand why we go through the right hand side so much because that allows Kone to move in more centrally, but we literally have zilch from the left hand side.

We also still look like conceding every time a team comes at us. It's basically the same thing every week. This season we are easy on the eye in stages ( a great half followed by a poor half ) but results are no different than last, piss poor at home and draw far too many away games.

I don't see him ever getting the balance right tbh, I don't think he's got it within him or has the mind set to be able to work hard on the most basic of issues we have which we all agree and see every game.

Don't hate the fella, I like him but for me personally I wouldn't be sad to see him go because I don't think he's good enough. That opinion is formed not from today's game, wasn't surprised we got beat today, it's a long road of poor results this season and last season.

He won't get sacked though so my opinion means very little in the grand scheme of things.

Last season we conceded 50 goals, 27th by this stage, though 6 of them where from the Chelsea match. We've already conceded 25 so far this season already!

Apart from Moyes' first full season we never conceded more than 49 goals with him in charge.
