13 points out of 10 games

Ahh the famous GOT tradition of selectively choosing stats to suit your point then mate, will give similar a go

Arsenal have got 5 points out the last 4 games so using that logic on schedule to get about 47 points, SACK WENGER!
I'm going out on a short limb here. You will get loads of takers in North London. What
Stat do you want, the less than 1.5 points a game all season

Math isn't your strong point is it mate? 10 points from 18 available would net you 63 points over the course of a season, so yeah i remember all thse relegated team around the 60 point mark over the years lol
would be great if we got to face only that calibre of clubs all season. Unfortunately we have to play top half clubs also.

Martinez is bringing a style of football to Everton that is entertaining. It is not as effective as we all wish it to be at the moment. Get our style right, then we can start to look at improvements in certain areas.
The longer we keep at this and the more players Martinez gets in the better we will be.

Still as well as we have played, 23 points out of 48 hmmmm no more excuses of we had all the hard games early.

I'm really not expecting us to beat Leicester, Stoke will be tough too, Newcastle away is our best chance of 3 full points to conclude the first half of the season. 28 points in the first half of the season, are people happy with that? Serious question?

It is what it is mate, no point thinking about what points we will be on until 1 games are played then we can look at it, right now we've probably only gotten a result in one game we didn't deserve one in (Spurs) and probably deserved more in 5 games (Swansea, Bournemouth, Palace and Norwich our play deserved to get the 3 points in, Arsenal we played well enough to earn a draw on balance), If we had then we'd be sat 8 points higher and overall more of a reflection of how we've been playing this season. Sadly you don't always get the result just because you look and play better than the opposition and generally dominate the game - especially if you give away daft goals like we do.

We wil be the better team in all those upcoming three games, IF we get the points now is the big one though

Last season martinez didn't have a clue. This season he has all the parts to a successful team and can't seem to get them to perform fully. It is a tad bit worrying because he gets so much right at the club yet we are now not winning the winnable games and it seems no matter how many goals lukaku scores or how many assists del provides, it isn't getting turned into points.

I'm with you on us struggling in these next few games. Against the likes of Stoke especially you've got to be doing everything to keep a clean sheet because they're going to give us bugger all at the other end.

Right now I fancy 1 win, 1 draw and 1 defeat in those games.

I see 5 from our next 6 games are at home now, that is interesting, i know two of them are cup games, so wont count as far as the points situation, but can be good for us in terms of confidence building, if we can get a good run of wins together.

I haven't enjoyed watching us this much in years.

Moyes got us results - but we wanted performances.

Now we have performances - just have to hope the results follow

The real issue is not whether us supporters are happy (or not) with a points total, the issue is that it is vital we do not convey any possible dissatisfaction with what points we've got. Our players would pick up on it and hence feel pressure (leading to further underperformance due to Everton's noted characteristic of wilting under weight of said). Basically, we need to protect our players from any weight of expectation...if we want to get the best out of them.
So basically, yes, I am rapt with the points total the lads have compiled to date this season

If players can't perform under pressure they shouldn't be at Everton. You can't hide the league table from them all season and trick then into playing well. They seemingly had no problem grinding out results last season when the R word began to loom. KITAP1 was the order of the day and we pulled clear. So obviously negative pressure affects them in a good way but the pressure of achieving something doesn't.
