Howard's comes out better in all these independent stat surveys than De Gea, Eric.

What do you make of that?
Apart from the stats that show he's the second worst keeper for failing to take a cross and conceding the most headed goals?

Oh so stats don't count...

but some stats do count.
You're the one that's been banging on about stats. I was merely pointing out some stats that don't support your argument.

Hang on JC...

. There are unfortunately no stats on how many times a goalkeeper fails to come out to even try to catch a cross.

Apart from the stats that show he's the second worst keeper for failing to take a cross and conceding the most headed goals?

You've confused me here.

His weight distribution looks a bit suspect to me. Compare him with Petr Cech, and look how stable the 2 of them are, Tim moves like a cat on a hot tin roof, Cech is a lot more stable and uses his feet better to move to the ball.

Really you seem to be obsessed defending him!
I will try and defend any Everton player that becomes such an obvious scapegoat when we don't collect 3 points.

What a few seem to have forgotten is that we could of actually lost this game quite comfortably had it not been for a few decent saves from Howard. Then when you add in the fact that it was a defensive marking error for the goal we conceded, you have got to admit that it seems a little bit strange that yet again people are pointing fingers towards the goalkeeper. He is a clear scapegoat and so yes i will defend him from time to time. Thats not an obsession joseph.

Agree with Blue4eva.. he's far from as bad as some make out.

He's poor at crosses, but a very good shot stopper, and generally very good positionally, saves a lot of points does Howard, every now and again fluffs his lines which invariably costs a goal because of his position, but overall is still a good keeper.
