Same as Howard?

Yeah, if he wants to keep his reputation and enjoy one or two more years of the good life, Celtic would take him.

Then again, he might want to prove himself for real in the Premier League, going to Bournemouth or West Brom to fight might make sense.

Oh, i'll just leave you with a fun fact:

He is contracted until summer 2018.

Really need to offload him to somebody. Signings like his are actually some of the most harmful to the club. At least when we've tossed money away on the likes of bily they're still getting a game but not producing much. Having a player who's probably earning about £40k a week and not even troubling the bench is a nightmare scenario.

Hopefuly he'll show some flashy tricks at EURO and someone will be stupid enough to take him.

I'd fancy Bournemouth to take him.

Can someone ruin my Christmas and tell me how much we actually pay him?

I'll even accept a figure from the worst website ever, transfermarkt.com.

Oh god mate, think I did some math on what he was on in Russia and posted it on here when we signed him - and if we matched that then it'd be something like 40k pw

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWHYGODWHY?!?

Problem you get with free transfers or people winding there contracts down to the last 6 months like with him mate, no or cheap fee but end up paying more on signing fees and wages, need to get him off the books asap though even if it costs us to do so

Christmas ruined. No idea he was on anything like that sort of money .. Must be gone in January. If he has any ambition at all he would push a move to ensure game time to get in Ireland team for euros ... He won't get any time for us as he is muck ... Please Santa give him to someone for Xmas

The 24-year-old will visit the city with his girlfriend and representatives, despite publicly stating that he was unconvinced that a move to Spartak would work for either personal or football reasons.

However, the Moscow club are prepared to double McGeady's salary into the region of €45,000 per week, with the added bonus that the personal tax rate in Russia is only 13pc.

was from an Irish paper at the time he was moving to Spartak mate, so factoring in tax etc then he'd come out around the 40k+ mark to break even - although Spartak may have helped us as they basically fined him every other month half his months wages the last year of his contract lol
