ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

So much giddiness. They beat a Citeh side missing kompany, silva and otamendi. Aguero wa half fit, hart had a nightmare, sterling was anonymous and toure went off at half time. Hugely flattering.

Southampton just aren't very good.

They lost to palace and needed an absurd penalty decision to beat Swansea.

Why do thy never learn.

Klopps got 11 points out of five games. If he'd got them beating Southampton Palace and Seansea at home, drawing to Spurs, drawing to Chelsea but losing at City, people would consider that a decent start but largely expected. The media have only focussed on City and Chelsea away though crowning Liverpool as champions elect but have just written off all the home results as a fluke that is not the real Klopp.

Even Rodgers racked up a huge number of wins on the spin last year. It's remarkably easy to do as Liverpool manager when you get more pens than anyone in prem history and most referees tilt the game in your favour. Doesn't mean they're going to win the treble though the way some people are going on about it.

As predicted the RS pundits are out in force "top 4" Blah, Blah, "title challenge a possibility" Blah, Blah, "Klopp what a manager" Blah, Blah.

Wind back 4 days and they were stinking the pit out with a dire performance against Swansea, and Sturridge was being called from a pig to a dog for being a sick note " sell him la".

playing the top teams away is clearly their forte under klopp. But i've said this before, that constitutes about 7/38 games of a league season. the other 31 they will find a lot harder, as proved by single goal victories vs bournemouth, villa, stoke and swansea already. I hope we go to anfield the same way we went to places like soton. Sit deep and smash them with the pace on the counter, that's how teams have been beating them at anfield for about 3 or 4 years now.

Great result for them yesterday, no doubt about it, but a team that lets origi score a hat-trick makes you question just how good it really was.

Defeat to Palace and a debatable penalty at home to Swansea are all forgotten. Fluke win at Bournemouth, extra time earlier in the league cup also forgotten. They find it hard to admit that City's back line was like watching kids on a school yard (apologies if I offended anybody's kids there). A few weeks ago it was all about the players not being good enough, now I hear its all about the manager not being good enough, yet if I remember correctly Gnashers was likened to a potential Shankly JR.

If we had beaten City 4-1 Chelsea 3-1 and Southampton 6-1 in the space of 2 months we would be jizzing buckets

The fella is no idiot and he's slowly getting them performing

The worrying thing is this is with utter dross in the side, he will be given upwards of 100m in the summer to buy better players

Origi virtually walked from the left wing to the right wing with absolutely nobody taking a bit of interest in him when he scored his second. Yet another comical defensive performance against them, never seen a team get so much room as that last night. 7 attempts on target, 6 goals says it all for me in terms of Southampton's failings

Could it be Klopp's system that makes the backline's look all over the place, his dortmund team made alot of team's look bad defensively with the movement, incisive passing in the final third and quick transitions,it looks like history repeating it self.

.....you folk who don't live in Liverpool are very fortunate this morning, the Reds are well and truly out of hibernation and speaking as if there was never anything wrong. To be fair it was a terrific result and performance but you would think they would learn to not get carried away.

Goals against written off for offside.

Penalty decisions being given in favour.

Same shoite - different manager. It' won't do them any good. They'll still win the sum total of fur call.

I have to say that system is the absolute worst thing our defence can come across, a similar scoreline isn't out the question when we play them, as even against Boro they seemed to panic at the slightest sign of pressure. I'm glad we aren't playing them twice in that semi final!

...great win for the Pool, no doubt about that but it's amazing that all of a sudden Facebook Reds are out of hibernation with the same old comments. They never learn.
Posting pictures of Origi last night when you know they were all calling him crap before the match.
