Dario Terracotta
Player Valuation: £70m
I just think he is the problem for our back four, they don't trust him anymore, and when that trust is lost, chaos reigns, just like yesterday, even though you couldn't really blame him for the goals bizarrely!
Of course not. No one would have saved those. Can't blame him for it but you knew he wasn't going to save any of them.
Taleban have produced significantly better goalkeepers so no comparison
Are you joking?Of course not. No one would have saved those.
Good goalkeepers save you 3 points a few times a season... Howard will very likely not even do it once... And that is before the number of points he will cost us is taken into account

He just fills a shirt these days.He has had 113 clean sheets at Everton, that means on those games we had to get at least a point, he has been here 8 years, which means he has earn't us an average of at least 14 points a season![]()
Are you joking?
I've now seen the goals
And he should save their 3rd IMO
It's head height and in the centre of the goal
A good keeper saves that abs wins us 3points
Why is he so far over towards his right post before the cross comes in?
Don't worry Stephen the nurse will be around after lights out to give you your glasses back.
Barcelona never had a great keeper during their Pep Guardiola run. The Inter Milan team that dominated Serie A and won the Champions League a few years back didn't have a great keeper. Dortmund didn't have a great keeper during their recent great run.He just fills a shirt these days.
Every great side has a great keeper, we don't anymore, he's well last his sell by date

Not that any of that has anything to do with our situation; it's just a silly cliché that I'd like to see go away. Tim Howard's the weak link in the squad and goalkeeper is the most obvious position to be upgraded through the transfer market, but the idea that we somehow can't be a great team unless we have the next Buffon on the payroll is ridiculous. It would certainly help, as would having a great player at any position, but having a great goalkeeper won't turn us into a great team (Bert Trautmann only one one trophy in his entire career) and not having a great keeper won't prevent us from becoming a great team.
