I think goalkeeping 'stats' are literally the most pointless things in the world. You have to use your eyes to judge a goalkeeper - and it's blatantly obvious that Howard has been horribly out of form since the World Cup, and at his age, it's difficult to see that changing.

In the full interview on Fox Sports he laughed at the English fans knowledge of goal keeping saying they are limited to say the least and even the number one England keeper makes more mistakes than him. He is full of it.

When he said Southall was an 'overrated fat bin man' I literally couldn't believe my ears.

Doug he won your poll by one vote v a Keeper who the fans have rarely seen - not saying he is the answer , but after the league cup tie a survey in the Echo had 80% of fans wanted to start the next game his name is Robles who you seem to ignore even if he turns a MOTM performance in and got us through to the next round!
I would like to see Robles given a run in the team like last season when a clean sheet was a common occurrence for 3 games only!

Not really. If a player gets a 6/10 in a match rating it nearly always means they were "ok", adequate. A 5/10 usually means they didn't play well

It's not how it works Mike because that wouldn't and doesn't make sense. 5 is the middle point of 10, if it wasn't and 6 was the middle mark it would be out of 12 and not 10.

Have you been doing it wrong for years? I'd have credited you with more sense than getting a very simple thing like this wrong Mike.
