It seems very sensible.
Obviously a very talented player but has had horrendous luck with injuries.
If he can stay fit until the end of season we may have a very good player on our hands at I am sure a very modest cost.
I think the outlay by Everton will be very modest and worth a shot.

A low risk gamble on a player who obviously must have had some ability before injury. In a position we have little cover in.

Browning looks good defensively, but he's not a modern fullback. If this kid can prove his fitness would he allow Browning to go out on loan for the second half of the season?

Long term benefit to us if Browning can go out and get further minutes & confidence, maybe at CB.

I think I disagree mate. This seems utterly mental.

the loaning him out bit I don't get at all, he's not a youngster..surely we can tell if he's good enough from training/u21 matches??

It's like even worse than the Lucas Neill loan. That made a bit of sense.

While I do agree we probably could do with some right back cover, why this utter utter random??

I'd guess it's not the quality we're questioning. It's the match fitness. It's hard to mimic real game intensity in training and u21 game scheduling isn't great. 1 month regular games, with no international break will be a good way to show he can actually get through some real games and tackles without falling to pieces.

Why have we signed Chris Coleman?

It's a bit like if Kaka's mum, instead of sleeping with Kaka's dad, slept with her own dad instead.

We wouldn't be able to register him for our first team until January, right? So we're probably just sending him out to keep fit and get playing time until then

I don't know the ole deal so can't judge. Chelsea and city have been doing the same. It's seems anew way of doing business.

This is quite different though clearly.

A 27 year old injury prone journey man who has never played more than 10 games in a single season signing, therefore costing a wage (albeit small), immediately being loaned out to one of the biggest holes I've ever visited.

Perfectly normal.

I'd love to know what is going on.

He might be a bit better now mate.
