ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

We have 3 strikers scoring at a 0.50 rate or better this season, its just unfortunate that 2 of them happen to be injured. I see no reason why we should buy another striker though as we'll most often play with 1 up top. Origi will develop nicely too hopefully.

Benteke scoring rate: 0.48 per-90

Benteke has now scored 3 goals for us in 566 minutes of play, or one goal every 189 minutes. Just about 1-in-2 at 0.48 goals-per-90.

If you want to be generous and factor in his stunning goal against Swindon in preseason then he's at 4 goals in 656 minutes, or a goal every 164 minutes, which is 0.55 goals-per-90.

Ings scoring rate: 0.53 per-90.

Before his injury Ings has 3 goals in 508 minutes, or a goal every 169 minutes, or 0.53 goals-per-90.

Sturridge scoring rate: 074 per-90.

2 goals in 241 minutes, or a goal every 121 minutes, for 0.74 goals per-90.

Origi scoring rate: 0 per 90.

No goals in 471 minutes.

So, clearly, all they need to do is drop Origi and another useless vegetable like Llalana or Lucas and put Ings and Sturridge on the pitch and simply await the opposition to offer them the appropriate number of goals.. Will they be playing against Bournemouth and Chelsea?

Anyone else heard how Klopps new style is evolving and the signs are great, only a matter of time before it all clicks into place (or the window opens and he's allowed to spend a kings ransom bringing in a whole host of new faces)?

The new Kopite mantra in the face of the honeymoon period being errrmm, well, a bit crap.

Sakho is also now immense apparently.

'Klopp has a job on his hands as he has to change a team from being reactive under Rodgers, to one which is proactive in defence; something which will definitely take time.'

That looks to be the most important part of it. Also this "Through shifting towards the ball, they generally created a structure which allowed enough connections to move the ball upfield. Although not always fantastic, it was good enough for the Premier League."
I thought the upfield movement of the ball was even better in the second half when Benteke and then Firmino came on.

That's cleared that up then.

That article is complete garbage.. funny like but sure to give you a headache...

Two things they do that really show them up to be the absolute tools that they are, the attempts to out scouse each other and their desire to show how knowledgeable they are when they are really posting absolute turd, posts like that above and the APL, not one poster on there questions the pille of crap,on here the poster would be left a quivering wreck

They break the mould with that one....vintage RS behaviour. And no one brings them to task...or pulls them up....or rips them to bits. And that's for their actions in print.... of course its a whole new ball game with the visuals. I thought this was a spoof at first but apparently its for real. They really are beyond parity and sanity at the same time.

what a load of waffle, they are going to press up a bit more, you see on here we would get the idea, because we are football fans over there then need a bloody lecture, a spread sheet and nice little graphs to get the message across, to the tourists that support the team.
I am starting to feel bit sorry for there local fans (not much) as they are truly morphing into a theme park for football tourists, what next wristbands for the Liverpool fun house.

"The double ’10’ was beaten and Southampton started moving towards the three midfielders behind them. As the play developed, James Milner made a (likely instinctual) reactionary movement towards Bertrand as if to man-mark him and space between him and Lucas opened up for Saints to use.

"This situation would’ve been much more stable had Milner taken a proactive approach. An example of this would’ve been to orient him zonally and cover the half-space and inadvertently cover Bertrand with his shadow"
There's being an expert then there's the Emperors new clothes. What a load of piddle.

"After Benteke put the home side ahead in the 77th minute, Klopp quickly reverted back to a 4-3-2-1 in an attempt to find more stability to protect the lead"
Hahaha he IS a German David Moyes.
