Their hero-worship of Klopp before he's even achieved a thing for them is just utterly bizarre.

If ever a series of images summed up how much of a cult they are, this is it.

"When Jurgen Klopp took over at Borussia Dortmund they'd just finished 13th and were in need of inspiration.

"A huge club with a successful past and fervent support requiring a pick me up - sound familiar?

"One of the features of Dortmund's stadium was the enormous stand behind the goal, 'the yellow wall' providing an atmosphere virtually unparalleled in world football.

"The all new 'Klopp end' is likely to be at its most raucous for his first Premier League bow at Anfield; Thursday's meeting with Rubin Kazan felt more like a dress rehearsal."
I feel sick!

The Klopp end is so fierce today that the Southampton fans are popcorning the hell out of them.

Gang of bells, the lot of them

My mate goes all over watching different teams in different countries. He went to watch a Polish side play at home. He loves the atmosphere and he's packed Anfield in, coz its a farce!

The home side gets a corner, the fans are singing there heads off and he ATTEMPTS to record the corner and the phenomenal support. The local lad next to him pushed his phone down and said "Not during the match, tourist!". My mate respected that, kept his phone away and enjoyed the atmosphere.

At the end of the game, the lad spoke to my mate and told him that its fine recording before or after the game but to do it while the game is in play is offensive to their tradition. They go the game to sing, support and make an immense atmosphere for the players and themselves! He explained there are fans outside, who want to be in the ground, and if they were they'd respect the traditions, so why should they allow supporters who come to one game be any different? My mate agreed 100%, apologised for the misunderstanding and they had a bevy!

This is something Liverpool fans should be aware of. Some supporters who come onto The Kop are there to witness and capture our atmosphere, which is dying coz of their lack of involvement. They may not mean to do our heads in but they do and we don't let them know.

If we were to tap them and say "Listen mate, sitting in silence, recording and taking selfies while the games on? We find that quite offensive coz this unique stand prides itself on its famous atmosphere, being jam packed with proper supporters who sing their heads off and cause a scene! And to be honest I've got mates who are watching in the pub coz they're sick of the lack of atmosphere people like you are causing. If he was here he'd be singing his [Poor language removed] head off. So do us a favour, mate, before you accept a ticket on The Kop, understand what that ticket means, understand whats expected of you and be respectful to our traditions. If standing and singing and staying til the final whistle isn't for you, fine. If you can't handle going through the match without the use of your devices, fine, but respect that to be in this stand you need to be up for all that and if you're not then don't disrespect us, give your ticket up or go and sit in the sides with fans like yourself, The Kop is for supporters. No hard feelings"

I don't think thats in any way, shape or form nasty. Obviously 90% of people won't word it like that but you get the gist.

Theres thousands of proper supporters in that ground, who remain silent. Stop being silent. Social media only voices to people who want to hear it. Lets start voicing ourselves on the stands now and let those who let the atmosphere down know aba it.

If something isn't done, its our own fault coz we've stayed silent and let it happen. If your sitting next to one of these supporters in future, give them a tap, let them know what The Kop's about and hopefully it will catch on.

Lets make The Kop special again, or at least try! Our dads and granddads would be mortified with how its gone now, they made us the Famous Kopites, so lets get back to being that ay!!
