Tim Howard

why did he dive in the opposite direction for the first goal? a player never ever diverts those chances to the near post, i have no idea what hes doing every week. he makes it look like he's doing it on purpose.

He's done. Joel to get a run starting from now. Priority in the Jan window is a world-class young(ish) goalkeep. Go 15-20m if we have to (if funds available, ffs).

Roberto thinks he has another 4 or 5 years in him yet at the top level
What do you want him to say? 'I'm absolutely sick of the god bothering annoyance diving out the way of the ball, I can't be arsed with him anymore?'
He knows, if we all know then you can guarantee Bob knows.

When was the last time any Premier League team signed a first team goalkeeper in the January transfer window? It just doesn't happen, so quit talking about what an absolute necessity it is. No club would let a good goalkeeper leave in the middle of the season, no matter what the fee might be. We're stuck with either Howard or Joel until the end of the season. Deal with it.

Just jumped out the way of the third.
Dreadful.
Bobbys only flaw right now.

His insistence on -

Goalkeeper
Playing the same 2 centre midfielders
Left hand side Naisy shoe in

There the 3 problems he has and has had now for over a year.

That 3rd goal is absolute tripe from a keepers point of view. I've never known a keeper to dive out of the way as much as Howard does, it defies reason!!

He lost me at Palace at home last year.
Simply awful.

Can't catch a ball
Doesn't command his area
Most headed goals conceded from any keeper I can ever remember inside our own 6 yard box
Dives out of the way of shots
Dives under long range efforts

Brendan Rogers was rightly mocked on this forum but at least he had the balls to drop a keeper who was costing his team points.

Takes decent snapchat pictures of his trainers and his bling on airplanes though.....what more can you ask of a first team keeper.
He's done my head in for the last 2-3 seasons. Simply not good enough for this improving squad. Same flaws he had under Chris Woods....poor feet, goes down quicker than a whore who needs to make the last bus home, and is rooted to his line on crosses and corners. The frigging star jump he does boils my slash.
