Tim Howard

When a manager makes a player undroppable, it never works out well for the team or the fans.

Players need faith, yes, but they also need some expectation and pressure. Howard knows that, short of throwing the ball into his own net twice a game, he will never be dropped.

At least he didn't cost us a tight game and had a shocker in the same game as many others.

About the only positive thing you can say about today.

Normally I cut Tim so slack but his attempt at Rooney's goal was sad. Looked afraid to challenge him and went to ground too early. I'd rather seen him come out and go for the slide tackle and get carded. Sad, needs addressed in January or summer for sure.

I've never ever seen a keeper go down so early it's farcical. By the time the attacker has pulled his foot he's spread eagled on the ground the clown.

Its not just TH - Barry , and McCarthy are hard to get subbed never mind dropped - TH was not at fault today ok lets say he stood up and saved Rooney's shot the other two bad errors cost us. our midfield was inept with again only RB in it having shots it was square pegs in round holes again today, which no Keeper could save us from!

Stopped it from being 4-5 today.
Doug I had him down for one save - he was on his backside before Rooney shot, but TBH the whole defence, and midfield was outplayed today - I feel any team would have beat us today would have beaten us today the way we performed!
The sad news of HK was a blow to any blues who seen him play, and manage us to trophies!
A bad, sad day all round Doug, and my brother was there with his own pies this time!
Probably choked on them on such of an occasion , and a performance like that!
