Elite any good then?

Used to have 'Frontier: Elite 2' on my old Amiga 1200 when I was a kid, although I spent most of my time breaking the laws and having dogfights with the police (losing usually) was great fun lol

It's the old game(same principles) but new gen and much bigger. It's hard but once I get the hang of it reckon it will be awesome.

@Dylan is the Elite specialist.

I wouldn't call myself a specialist, but I do alright. @tsubaki has been playing longer than me though.

Not sure what my in game name is, only my log on name. I haven't sussed out the interface yet. Think I need a list of keys.

I am using a gamepad/keyboard hybrid. Hopefully when I get the steam controller next month I'll be able to program it.

In short, I'm not doing very well.

The keys are completely bindable to however you want. Head over to the Elite sub on Reddit for tons of help:

Cheers lads.
May add it to my list at some point, but with Fallout 4 on the way and Witcher DLC imminent, I have no idea when though :p

You can play the game like you used to. Bounty hunt, courier, trade, pirate, smuggle.....its all in there!

November is going to be difficult for me. Elite releases the horizons expansion which adds planetary landings and atmospheric flight and, like you said, Fallout 4 releases.

And at some point, I will grab Witcher 3 on a sale as well.

Anyone played the Star Wars battlefront beta and if so has anyone actually won as the rebels on walker assault???

One time as the rebels one of the AT-AT's was destroyed but it seems just too hard to destroy both of them, but I must admit I like being the rebels knowing it's a lost cause and trying your best in the hope you win, it's a bit boring as the imperial cos unless the rebels put up a fight it's just a matter of time as you wait for the AT-AT to destroy the base.

Don't know what this is .

I'm still trying to figure out how to dock. Probably would help if I did some tutorials.

In game name.

Docking was really a challenge in the beginning, you get so used to it though, and it becomes so second nature that you completely forget how hard it is to do!

And how are you playing? Keyboard/mouse, gamepad or joystick?

Oh so you guys enjoy docking right?
