It's a vidya game based on a movie in space where men run around firing and swinging lazers at each other, when would realism come into play anyway. Defined by the parameters as set in the movie innit.

Because if everyone could fire weapons from ridiculous ranges with pin-point accuracy it would be a pretty stupid game, no?

I dont care wether its realistic or not that the laserweapons give recoil or not. the point is; it doesn't give me a good feeling or feel different to use different weapons. I prefer to " feel" that I am using a weapon and to learn how to be skilled at using weapons based on how they react to you firing them. In this star wars game its just spray and pray.
