Nope.

Found a calculation online that estimates the laser gun would have to have a discharge intensity equivalent to 0.2 tons of TNT detonating before you would physically feel a recoil.

It's a vidya game based on a movie in space where men run around firing and swinging lazers at each other, when would realism come into play anyway. Defined by the parameters as set in the movie innit.

I dont care wether its realistic or not that the laserweapons give recoil or not. the point is; it doesn't give me a good feeling or feel different to use different weapons. I prefer to " feel" that I am using a weapon and to learn how to be skilled at using weapons based on how they react to you firing them. In this star wars game its just spray and pray.
