Meanwhile, over in RAWKland ("The Alternative Universe") apparently everything is ok because:

After Saturday's games:

City +3
Liverpool -2
United -3
Arsenal -4
Chelsea -5
Spurs -7
Saints -7

Chelsea have been very lucky today. Hopefully today's results don't galvinize them going forwards.

They look signifcantly fitter. Think they'll show everyone what they're all about over the next few months.

Table looking good for us though.

And, later...

So important we stay on -2 for the next two home games

Check it all out on the APL thread!

....I would think a true alternative league would have them on 3 points less for the key dodgy refereeing decisions they have benefited from.

There was even Blues saying Milner was a good signing. A total mediocrity chunky wool who is starting to slow raaat now. His weekly wages on the RS wage bill for the next four years makes me smile

"but... but... if his name was Milnerinho everyone would be raving about him"

It's the false football connoisseur approach where people go mad for a player who is visibly garbage.

File under Osman, L.

Their problem, when he goes, is that a new manager can't bring in his own players and, given Brenden has pissed away millions how much have they got left. If they sell they will loose a fortune on the players he bought. Doesn't look great.

Those players are on long contracts that most clubs couldn't offer, so they will have to pay them off like they did with Charlie Adam or loan them out and pay the difference.
