Cannot disagree with any of that. And i was gutted when i saw he went to them lot for that cheap. We'd be a much better proposition for him than them. They want 'NOW NOW NOW', whereas if he had a howler we'd simply say 'yep, that happens with youth'.

Brendan Rodgers must wish he could ban his strikers from international football altogether
Christian Benteke looks set to miss Belgium's Euro 2016 qualifier with Bosnia-Herzegovina on Thursday after picking up a thigh injury in training.

Liverpool will be waiting intently for further news on the condition of their top summer signing, having seen fellow striker Daniel Sturridge struggle for fitness ever since picking up a leg injury when on England duty a year ago.

"The medical team will see how the injury develops," said Belgium manager Marc Wilmots. "If on Wednesday he doesn't train because he feels some discomfort again, he won't play on Thursday. I only play people who are fully fit. There are enough replacements."

Belgium also play Cyprus on Sunday, but everyone at Liverpool will no doubt just be hoping Benteke arrives back to Melwood in one piece next week.

What we don't know is who he will be playing for at that time. He'll get a start in one cup game, be played at left midfield in Brenda 'new' 6-1-3-2-2 formation as an inside out upside down centre forward back, get chucked under the bus so Brenda doesn't have to take the heat of another early cup exit, go out on loan and get released on a free in summer 2017.
 

Yeah because Daniel Sturridge was never ever injured in his career before he joined up with England.
Yeah because steven gerrard or raheem sterling would burn out by playing for England 3-4 times a year, nothing to do with playing every minute of every game for around 40+ games.

Don't want Benteke injured. They play awful with him in the side. Rodgers will stumble on a better formation if he's forced to tinker. He'll then carry that off as his master plan. Ings and Origi must be loving Anfield life on the bench especially when Sturridge is back.
