Computer games.

Soz, couldn't help myself. Wouldn't have even been the first infraction I received because of him tbh.

On topic - see on that MSI you've got, is that the 2 or 4GB 850 or am I mistaken? Currently on the lookout for a new laptop, and it has to be a gaming one this time, so looking at some of the MSI's and Asus' ROG series...

Normally I hate laptop keyboards. The chiclet keyboards are awful and the key positioning is all wrong for someone used to using a decent desktop keyboard.

This MSI laptop does have chiclet keys, but they have a very satisfying click to them. The keyboard is by Steelseries, and the positioning is fantastic!!! It is, IMO, the best laptop keyboard I have ever used. So much that I don't even break out my 'gaming' keyboard anymore!!! Also, they have moved the windows key to the right hand side of the spacebar (between alt gear and control) which means no accidentally hitting it when using wsad.

Nice bit of kit Dylan. With plenty of kick under the bonnet.

I'm an enthusiast. Building computers is almost as fun as Everton. Almost.

Yeah a nice processor running the show. Also, the screen is really good. Pretty good viewing angles and the black levels are really good.

Nice, saw that Windows key thing, really nice touch by them!

I'm on an ASUS and the keyboard is really comfortable, at least for me. Only problem I really have is that my nVidia card is terrible for games, and I mostly use it for games. :(

That and it's 3 and a half years old.

We have an ASUS ROG G72-GXX. About 6 years old, keyboard is rubbish, keys were too far apart...seems like they spread them out to fit the 17" screen/chassis. Runs games *ok* but it is a GTX 260M, so a couple of generations back.....

Welp. :(

I run nearly all games on low, a lot on medium, but if they're even slightly more demanding - it shows instantly. Absolute waste of the i7 it has, but oh well...

Surprisingly an 8GB Ram upgrade is on the cards for September. Also gonna be whacking in a 512 GB mSATA SSD as well :)

Well recommend before you do order the memory open it up and check the SN and batch number of the existing 8GB

Unless you're buying a new 16GB kit entirely in which case doesn't matter.

Let us know how it goes DD

I've a two day code going if you want to use that to see.
Christ Almighty.

I knew I'd have to download a few updates, but 2GB worth?!?! It took about 4 hours and the rest of my paltry 20GB HDD. Didn't get a chance to have a go but I will today.

I like that you can transfer your character over to PS4/Xbox One. I'll be getting a PS4 eventually I think.
