2 River plate players, Cleverly and Deulofeu isn't much, but after finishing 11th this is potentially the fallout from the revenue hit tbh.

forgive me for being a little late on news but why did Stones cry?

Because he's only 21 and was happily living the dream in the PL when some Portuguese knob decided to publicly chase him for an astronomical sum, expecting the club & him to roll over like a dog.
Now, some find that funny, some think he deserves it, but whilst some also point out he's a professional footballer, I'd challenge anyone to cope with such enormous and unexpected pressure!

I suspect John was happy enough to go along with that but the agent wanted it here and he wanted it now, most likely at Mourinho's request. That agent apparently already has connections down the Bridge.

Hence his breaking the TR story the other day and Bobby's sideswipe about John being "badly advised".

can't think of any reason why he should cry unless he felt he's the victim of the situation which led me to think he either regret his decision or pity himself for the mess he had created.
