John Stones transfer saga

I've always regretted joining in with the Gary '****house' Speed chants as a kid.

I'm not so quick to badmouth a player these days.

I was on a plane to Ireland from Heathrow the night we beat United in the '95 Final.

Martin Keown was on the plane a few rows in front of me.

Arsenal had lost a European final to a freak goal and I started singing "Nayim.....from the halfway line" to the tune of the Pet Shop Boys song as I passed him en route to the bathroom :(

To this day I recoil in shame and embarrassment every time I think if it :(

I still don't think Stones would have heard it.....there were thousands of people letting the players know what they thought of the first half display.

It sounds very loud to us because the berk was right beside the phone.

We will never know of course, but I still think it highly unlikely John would have heard it.

And as for looking up, it could have been anything which caught his eye.

Actually there was a bloke last night posted that he was stood right behind the culprit.

I can't recall who it was but if he happens to read this exchange, perhaps he would let us know if he thought the outburst was loud enough to carry that distance.
The way he turns back almost like he was goin to confront him makes me believe he probably heard it
