Good bye good luck and fcuk off John.Off to to those noveau riche shower of shytes in West London you go John and we'll see you again when you come back to Goodison.A lot of people thought they were going on to bigger and better things leaving Everton.Well they were wrong but all going well you'll keep that bench warm at Chelsea John and with a bit of luck you might end up beeing the 21st centurys answer to David May.;)

He's not even started 40 games for us. He's barely into his twenties and has recently signed a five year contract.

At the end of this summer is the Euro Championship which he's very keen to assert himself in the England team for. He needs to be playing regularly for that.

Selling up every time a player hands in a transfer request only validates that behaviour and encourages it further.

Go out and sign a few centre backs, tell him that we refuse his transfer request and tell his agent to pipe down. What is he doing to do?

The alternative is letting him go and the respectability of a once ace football club. Show them we mean business.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! lol

Not including the Mori money assuming that's from the TV deal, say Stones does go for £35 mil (disgraceful sum) 15% leaves us with £30 mil to spend.

If we don't spend atleast £40 mil after any potential Stones sale then their is something wrong as we should have money for a playmaker signing regardless of a potential sale of Stones (wouldn't hold my breathe)

12 months ago people would of snorted milk put their nose at the talk of Stones going for the money that's currently being talked about.
Do they do that in Canada?

I don't think it was too far a stretch to know 12 months ago that he was going to be in demand. And it shouldn't be a big stretch to fathom that Everton won't let him go for cheap.

We will not spend half of the money from the Stones sale.

Out maximum total spend will be 20 million. We should be reinvesting all the Stones money along with using (at least some of) the TV money, but we can't because the board has got us into a vicious circle of loans through Vibrac.

40m quid for someone in their early 20s who isn't Messi

Oh wait that's crazy money

Thanks and let's stop the meltdown
Last Chelsea bid was 30m. Why would they jump all the way to 40m now when their media agitation has done its work and there is now a transfer request on the table? Especially when one of their rivals, City, will likely have dropped interest as they have just brought a CB?

We'll be spending about half of that if we're lucky.

Yep, and that was absurd too

Sell sell sell

Barnsley get a chunk of that money. So we have a fraction of that to get multiple centre backs who won't be anywhere near as good as Stones, in all probability. And that's if we actually get to spend all that money in the first place.
