100% Crap Television.
Sorry but it is. Read a book? Go for a walk? Take in some ******* culture. Because X-Factor that is not.
Ok so the auditions are slightly funny, but not when you think that most of them have to get through a couple of rounds before they get to the Simon Cowell mockery stage. Even though they are [Poor language removed] and deluded we are forced to watch other human beings being humiliated by Simon Cowell and his friends.
I know, let's have a television show where we can watch a man who gets made redundant and see him fall apart live on air.
Yeah that would be great.
X-Factor? pftt
LOL. There was already a program like that, did you miss it?
I only watch the auditions for the comedy factor...that and Im forced due to the bird wanting to watch it.
But this new series has taken the funny away from it all.
The kids normally watch it, awful TV in my eyes tho.
err, put your foot down.
and I never found it funny to see people's dreams ripped apart for the amusement of the British public. Christians in the Collosuem springs to mind.
1; Hell , yeah !!!
2; Perhaps a tad over the top there Ghost , what ??? I dig your point , and concur , but these clowns do indeed volunteer I believe ???

Your missing the point. When they volunteer/audition - apparently they don't get to audition straight away in front of Cowell, they go in front of producers who obviously ignore their lack of talent and look for the entertainment value - and for some that is fine, but there are kids out there who are deluded in thinking they are good, when they are not.
Just think it is out of order for these producers to lead these kids into thinking they are good, but then get ripped to pieces by Cowell.
But dont you find that amusing? The fact people, and viewers, are suckered into it?
I find it funny.
Not really. When you see young people reduced to tears because they are led to believe they are good.

But they bring it on themselves. They hype themselves, or other people hype them like family etc, then they're shocked that they're bad, get upset and angry over it.
Its wrong that the program uses this as entertainment, but arent they just capitalising on people who have had family and friends instill into them that they are good? Which is worst? Dealing false dreams or shattering false dreams? And would they take someone other than the judges like a friend or someone saying "youre rubbish"?
There's lots to go from rather than just blaming the program. I agree with you. But its not the programs fault for making entertainment when people are openly wanting to go on and wont take no for an answer.
