So is this £30m bid just media speculation, again?
Baines didn't agitate for Utd and got a new 4 year contract 5 months later, Jan 2014.
I have a feeling Chelsea will not play him as a regular but rather as a stand in for Terry or perhaps once they have got him, loan him out!
Possibly - Luiz I think went for £50 Million but he was captain of Brazil at the time. Maybe his value could rise beyond £50 Million due to the ensuing bidding war that could break out. That for me is the right course. But I think if he did fulfill more of his potential then we could look for more than 50 Mll.
Firstly we don't know how long these negotiations were taking place for, and secondly neither player was actively being pursued by one of the wealthiest clubs in the world.
Rooney wanted to go.
And if Stones doesn't want to go the he won't be sold.
Simple as.
No of course he hasn't but then again I don't go making declarative statements like "he wants to go!".A very good attempt at humour there but obviously the answer is no mate. Did he tell you he wants to stay?

Here's a question:
If Stones is absolutely not for sale and doesn't want to leave, why have Chelsea bothered coming back with a third bid?
His stock will be no higher than it is now IMO.
Everybody knows they will not get him on the cheap. We have a desperate buyer, thus meaning the big bucks could be there now should
SSN saying Chelsea have been back with 3rd bid of £30m,which has been rejected, no news from either club on this.So is this £30m bid just media speculation, again?
Spot on and is reflected on this site by all those posting every day in the Transfer Thread.
