Yeah a real love/hate style of comedian! I find him really funny and the one series (The Pall Bearers Revue) he was allowed to do was fantastic at times. They haven't repeated it or allowed him on the telly since.

Crackin' show that. Proper PMSL. A mate sent me a copy he made off the interwebz but with one episode missing. 'Twas the beeb that didn't allow him a 2nd series (unsurprisingly) but he had that show on ch5.

I remember reading how he got filled in in canada doing the same type of show - first thing he said when he came on was "Good evening, moose-phookers!"

Have you ever seen that card trick he does where he tells the story of haggling with the prostitute? Funny as friggery, and a bloody good trick too!

That's the one! The people vs Jerry Sadowitz on ch5. Some lad kicked off on him when it was in Liverpool IIRC.

Was reading that he branded Jimmy Saville a paedophile years ago before it all eventually came out.

he was mentioning this in the late 80's
