Bob Monkhouse was a brilliant gag teller

Jerry Sadowitz is a good shout too

Bill Hicks and George Carlin in equal first though for me

Doug Stanhope, cynical,Sarcastic,dark,shocking and sometimes vulgar But usually very funny American bevy head comedian Who's been about for a while is my favourite Currently. First came across him on Charlie Brookers Screenwipe a few years ago. f@ckin excellent man.

goin to see him in the Lowry in September, be boss hopefully.
