Good work out and we've defended well, Stones caught out of position giving Coleman a tough ask to outpace Walcott.

We've knocked it round in our own half but the link between midfield and upfront is still missing.

Think we allow too much space. We used to be great at closing down and niggling but now its a case of allowing space, especially on the flanks. We close in as a unit a bit too narrow allowing the opposition to have the width. When we do have possession the movement is also quite poor. What happened to the first season when we had the 2 fullbacks in the oppositions box? Looks like we are afraid of entering the box now but that might have something to do with not wanting to cross.

We need two big investments, in central attacking midfield and forward.

Have to agree. We've just seen a very uninspiring Everton forward line come up with very little inspiration. What are we going to do two months into the season when Lukaku gets injured and Miralles loses form ? Please bring in attackers with more skill than Kone and more guile than Naismith.

A very 'sporting' starting 11 by RM. Demonstrating he might not be going to try and score goals by starting Barry, Naismith, Kone and playing Cleverley in no-mans land, rather than start with the likes of Rom, Ross and Kev.
We look like we are playing a man down for long periods.
Happy with the back 4, just that the lads in front of them are not holding the ball well enough.
Not sure Robles needed to be steaming out when they scored.
Some promising moments, but the shape of the game is that we need to do better as we are more likely to concede another than get one.

Not over yet. Get some fresh legs on, get Naismith and Kone off for starters and you just never know...

COYB! ;)

Sadly I don't have sky sports right now and my usual go to place for games is barely working at all. hoping things aren't as bad as they sound

Again on the goal conceded: Coleman is THERE. He had to get a challenge in on Walcott. Jagielka or Stones would have got across that and blocked it.

Poor by Seamus there. I dont blame Robles at all. His defender had to deal with that.
