thing is mate, so far he has actually rejected the offer.

Burnley and Leeds both offered more first team opportunities and better money.
It wouldn't be anymore than a couple of thousand pounds a week extra, we'd be silly not to match it.

No we can't offer him the same amount of first team chances but we can send him out on loan to one of those clubs and if he performs well enough he could get minutes then the season after, especially with Kone's contract expiring at seasons end.

It really looks as though he's going but I did say the same thing about Garbutt and Pennington only re-signed last week. He hasn't signed elsewhere so he probably hasn't made his mind up yet so a good enough offer and surely he'd take it. Would hate to see him go elsewhere.

This is trickle down gobshitery. The senior pros and agents hold clubs to ransom and monkey see monkey do with the young lads. Forgetting that they owe the club some goodwill for developing them.

In short if any of them want to turn their nose up at Everton the sack them, and more so if they're a scouser.

Why are scousers getting special treatment?

Why wait for his contract to run down before making him an offer? You could see his potential, wouldn't it have been sensible to offer him an extension last summer?

I guess one of the reasons might be because it doesn't really make that much difference. If he turns down the contract the best price we'll get for him will be through a tribunal and he has to be out on contract to have one of those.

If he was good enough at his age he'd be in the first team - see John Stones.
Established international players like Besic are not guaranteed starts but these kids think they are?
If he wants to leave, bye....see you in the Milk cup in a few years. Very few released Everton players go onto better things... Ain't that right Mr Gosling

It's McCarthy and AIDS, passing the traitor virus onto our yoof players.

One of them needs to be rid off to stop it spreading, that's why AIDS never went to Singapore. Imagine the air the other players would have to breathe if both players were on the plane.

Jose Baxter is a great example of this, although if the lad feels he isn't going to break into the first team any time soon and has had no indication that he will then he has to think about his career. At this point in time he can get a championship move. A year on it could be league 1, league 2

It's not like we're trying to get BA Baracus on a plane: "Ey Chris lad, drink this cup of not-at-all suspicious milk while holding this pen"
